Learn the secret thoughts and beliefs of millionaires

You might think of rich people as lucky, and perhaps they are, but the ability to attract wealth has more to do with thoughts and actions than luck. Those people who seem to attract prosperity and abundance to their lives have almost certainly learned some important truths about how your thoughts impact your life. The good news is that you can do it too, and the results are pretty amazing.

For any measure of success to happen, you must believe that it can and will happen. There’s an old saying that says, “If you think you can or if you think you can’t, you are right.” The power of the mind is amazing, and if you can get your mind “on board” the money train, you will be much more likely to see it in your own life.

Positive affirmations, therefore, are crucial if you want to attract wealth into your existence. Crowding your mind with negative thoughts (like, “I’ll never be rich” or “That’ll never happen for me”) will overpower your mind and spirit. You absolutely must remain positive to see it happen. You must believe that you are worthy and that it is possible.

Taking the positive affirmations a step further, try to remain in the present tense. If your affirmations are all based on hope or on the future (“I hope I’ll be rich” or “I will have prosperity and abundance”), then you might end up literally wishing your life away. See it and believe it now. “I am wealthy.” “I have all that I need.” “Wealth and prosperity find me.” Training your brain to think prosperous thoughts is at least half of the battle of attracting abundance to your life.

But just like the old man who prayed every day to win the lottery without ever having bought a ticket, the thoughts alone will not get you there. In other words, you can’t wish your way to success without having some activity to support your beliefs. Chance favors the prepared, after all, so do the work on the front end that will allow you to attract that wealth and prosperity to yourself.

Develop your skills, hone your craft. Never stop learning, both inside and outside of your own area(s) of expertise. I’ve heard it said recently that “leaders are readers,” and there’s actually a lot of truth to that statement. We could also say perhaps that “earners are learners.” So many people seem to think that learning is over when formal schooling ends, and nothing could be further from the truth. Building and feeding an ongoing curiosity about everything will keep you in the learning mode, which can ultimately help you to learn more about how to bring that abundance into your life.

Believe that it is possible. Affirm to your brain and soul that it is happening. Be a lifelong learner. Find work that inspires you and work hard every day. Do the work, train your brain and believe and you’ll find that you naturally attract wealth, prosperity and abundance to your life.

Tell me who you hang around with and I tell you how your soul may look like? Interesting

We are often surrounded by negative vibrations around us and dealing with negative surroundings becomes difficult for most of us. What we hanker for is to be miles away from these negativities but somehow this gap between negativity and us keeps narrowing. It is said that- a man is known by the company he keeps. And it’s often seen that the traits, the behaviors and the mannerism that a person imbibes are due to being in close proximity to the people around him. Many a times we unconsciously pick up mannerisms of others around us. This also holds for negative traits that the person close to me might have.

Why I say this is very simple to understand. More often than not we imbibe the negativity that the person close to me might feel or exude. It becomes difficult for us not to be a part of it and more often than not we are a part of this negative surrounding. Negative surrounding may refer to unhealthy lifestyle practiced by people, unhealthy thinking that includes narrow mindedness, conservative thinking and a feeling of pessimism. Pessimism catches with people faster than positive thinking does. This is because evil is always tempting than good and it might sound shocking but we derive pleasure out of being sad and practicing evil.

Dealing with negative surrounding becomes all the more difficult for people who have been practicing unhealthy lifestyle or unhealthy thinking from their childhood. This is because people have a certain kind of feeling or perception about things which they doesn’t want to let go of it easily. Sometimes it becomes very difficult to stay positive when the conditions and situation around you are not favourable. This situation is frequently faced by leaders who know that the situation is bad but has to stay positive to uplift the spirit of his supporters.

Stop participating in conversation were the focus is to bemean people, denigrate them. This makes you feel bad even if you don’t realize it. You can politely tell the person that you don’t want to be a party to the conversation and make them understand that they are being negative which they might not realise. Distancing yourself from all unhealthy lifestyle and thought of the others will help you to generate a good environment around you. All unholy and negative energy should be avoided and if possible banned from your life.

Dealing with negative surrounding might not be easy all the time but we should take every action on our part to distance all negativity from us and from our lives. Proper endeavour on our part will make sure that eradicate and ban it from our lives. We can make it possible only and we should keep a safe distance from people who exude negativity and are habitually pessimistic. Because positive feeling and vibrations are much stronger and infectious than negative energy and once you practice being positive see how the world, or to be precise the people around you will follow suit.

Living under a mountain of debt cripples you. You’re unable to live in peace because of the weight and pressure of your financial problems. Creating a debt relief plan can be immensely beneficial in stopping this horrific pain.

Step One: Gather Your Bills. The first thing you must do to create a debt relief plan is know how much you owe and to whom. This will probably be the most difficult step for you if you’ve never done it before. But being able to see every bill you have and the amount of debt you owe will help motivate you and kick start you into action.

Step Two: Make A Plan. Once you have a clear understanding of the amount of debt you’re in, you’ll be much more capable of setting reasonable financial goals for yourself. these goals are what will help you get out of and stay out of debt forever. Begin by sorting your bills from highest to lowest in amount.

Step Three: Make Payments. The most important thing you can do is to make sure you keep making your payments on time. If you are behind on any bill, the first thing you need to do is get caught up. Once you’re caught up on all payments, start applying every extra dollar you can to the smallest bill and get it paid off. Then work your way up the ladder.

Step Four: Continue Moving Forward. Once you get going and start seeing some of your debt paid off, it will be tempting to get another credit card or create more lines of credit. Instead, save money for those purchases and wait until you have enough cash saved up to pay for it in full up front with cash.

Getting out of debt is possible. But you must have a plan and stick to it.

If it’s not doing you any good – why keep it?

If you feel like a person or a situation is a continual drain on your energy, you probably need to learn how to eliminate negative influences from your life. Negative influences are people or situations that encourage us to always think the worst. Allowing negative influences to affect the way you think about things can lead to depression, discouragement, and apathy-exactly the opposite of the way you want to feel.

So what can you do about the friend who always drones on about how horrible everything is or the co-worker who predicts mass firings every time the boss clears her throat? Surprisingly, you have several options.

The first thing you can do to eliminate negative influences in your life is to end negative relationships and associations. This method works well if ending the negative relationship will bring greater benefits than problems. Deciding not to talk to a negative acquaintance, for instance, is much easier than deciding to end all communication with a negative mother in law, and leaving a job you’ve had for six weeks is far easier than leaving a job you’ve had for six years.

If you can’t simply end a negative relationship, you can try to change the focus from a negative to a positive one. Being negative can become a habit. Perhaps your co-worker or family member who sounds like a prophet of doom has gotten so used to being negative that he or she simply can’t think of any other way to carry on a conversation. In that case, you may be able to eliminate negative influences simply by changing the subject. You might come right out and say something like, “We always talk about how bad things are. Today let’s talk about something that is good.” Or you might be more subtle and steer the conversation in a different direction. “Yes, I did read about that horrible railway accident. “Mmmm…who baked cookies? It smells wonderful in here!”

Another way to handle negative energy is to reframe it into something positive. Using this method of thinking, you don’t have “problems,” you have “challenges” and you never admit to “defeat” only a “temporary setback.” One example of positive reframing can be found in the hospice philosophy of care. Hospices work with people who are dying-it’s hard to imagine a more negative situation. However, the hospice philosophy is one of providing comfort and enabling dying people to participate fully in their lives, however long those lives might last. Rather than focusing on what can’t be done for their patients-cure-hospice workers focus on what can be done for their patients-care. If hospice can reframe a huge negative like death, surely you can reframe the smaller negatives in your own life.

A final way to handle negative influences is simply to ignore them. You may never be able to reform your family member who thinks the worst of every situation, but you can learn not to let that person’s point of view affect the way you see your life. You can say to yourself something like, “Just because John thinks this way doesn’t make it so. I choose to believe…” and substitute a positive interpretation.

Negative influences can be a big drain on your energy. Learning to eliminate negative influences is your first step to becoming a more positive, optimistic person.

As much as we would like to avoid it, sometimes we need to confront and deal with stress and anxiety

Wouldn’t it be nice if living a more enlightened life meant that you never had to deal with stress again? Maybe yes, maybe no, but the fact is that even an enlightened life is a human life, and from time to time we all have to deal with anxiety. The trick is in how you deal with it and what you do to keep it from taking over your life.

I once worked with a woman who treated every problem as a tragedy. Her name was Jean, but I thought of her as “Chicken Little” and I avoided her as much as possible because she just wasn’t a lot of fun to work with. I can’t imagine that she enjoyed her own company much either. She allowed herself to get stuck in every issue that came her way, which greatly hampered her progress. The truth is that when stressful situations tap away at your peace of mind, staying mindful of the big picture will help keep you calm down. It’s all comes down to three simple strategies: Take a Break; Change Your Perspective; Keep Moving Forward.

Take A Break -

When the stress becomes overwhelming, stop what you’re doing and take at least a little breather. Anxiety builds upon itself, not unlike a wildfire, and stepping away from it can diffuse the pressure. Believe me, if you feel like you can’t possibly stop to take a break, this is the time you need it the most. It doesn’t have to be a long or elaborate break, just enough to help you reset yourself. And then when you’ve had that small mental break, get back to work. The issues will only get worse if you try to hide from them.

Change Your Perspective -

In some foreign languages, the word “problem” translates literally to “opportunity.” This can be hard to remember when you’re trying to deal with stressful situations, but it really is true. Working to find a different interpretation of whatever is troubling you can help you break a big problem into smaller elements. It can help you feel calmer, better able to deal with the anxiety. Most importantly, looking at the issue from a different perspective can help you brainstorm for solutions you might not have thought of otherwise.

Keep Moving Forward -

Okay, maybe you’re trying to deal with the stress of an endless to do list, juggling priorities and stretched capabilities. Instead of letting the anxiety of all that needs to be done paralyze you, just make something happen. Break the big jobs into little pieces. Evaluate the priorities to determine what’s important now (W-I-N) and deal with it. Little achievements add up to true progress, and it takes less time than you might think.

Finally, learn the lessons of history. It might sound simplistic to say, “This too shall pass.” It really is true, though. And sometimes if you can just hold on through the storm you’ll find that much more peaceful times will follow. So maybe the biggest lesson of all for dealing stress and anxiety is perseverence. Just hold on and stay on course. You really will get there.

Journaling has been a method of chronicling one’s life story for centuries. Journaling has even grown so much so that we have learned about all sorts of journals to keep: dieting, memoirs, exercise, children, academic.

Many people have a burning desire to write their own memoir. The trouble is they never get around to writing it because they don’t know where to get started. Using a journal can be extremely productive in helping you put it all together. This article will show you how you can use your journal to connect the dots of your life.

STEP ONE

Begin with a brand new journal or notebook. Decide if you want to work from date to birth, or birth to date.

STEP TWO

At the beginning of the book, jot the date that you’re beginning this project. You’ll want to be able to measure the amount of time it takes to complete this. Starting at the first page of the journal, write your date of birth at the top of the page.

STEP THREE

Count 10 pages. Write the number 1 at the top of the next page. Skip another ten pages then write the number 2 at the top of the next page. Continue doing this until you reach your current age now. You might want to skip more or less pages between some years. That is totally up to you. Just be sure you leave enough blank pages to write on for each year.

STEP FOUR

After you finish with step three, go back to the beginning and start writing about things that happened in each year of your life. Some years may hold no memories for you. Skip them and go back to them later when you can interview someone who knew you well then.

By the time you reach the end of the journal, you will have a book full of memories and information. Doing this exercise is a great way to chronicle your life. You will probably learn a lot of things you didn’t know. You might stir up old memories long forgotten as well. Have fun and don’t be afraid to ask questions to family members.

Is it really possible to reprogram your thinking without calling Bryan Weiss?

When you’re looking at ways to learn to think more positively and improve your outlook on life, self hypnotism can be a valuable tool. When many people think of hypnosis, they think of Las Vegas stage magicians and people barking like dogs or clucking like chickens.

In reality, hypnosis refers to a deeply relaxed state of consciousness, just this side of the line between waking and sleeping. When you are hypnotized, you are somewhat dissociated, that is, you may have a feeling of being “out of touch” or of watching yourself from a distance. People who are hypnotized are highly open to suggestion. That is why so many self help experts use hypnosis as part of their formula for positive change. However, it is important to remember that even under hypnosis, you are still in control of your faculties. You won’t do anything or adopt any beliefs that you find repugnant.

Self hypnotism is not particularly uncommon. We’ve probably all hypnotized ourselves at one time or another. One example is driving down a long, boring stretch of road and suddenly realizing you’re almost at your destination. How did you get there? What happened to that hour of driving time you were anticipating? Chances are you lulled yourself into a hypnotic state during the drive.

Learning self hypnotism isn’t difficult. There are several CDs commercially available that teach self hypnosis or deep relaxation. You can also hypnotize yourself without a CD.

Lie or sit comfortably on a bed or chair. Take a few deep breaths. Become very aware of the breath entering your lungs and leaving them. Now, starting with your feet, focus on each muscle group and make a conscious effort to relax it completely. This is known as progressive relaxation. Many of us don’t know what it feels like to be completely relaxed, so when you’re starting out, you may have to tense your muscles. Then release them, so you can feel the difference.

Once your muscles are relaxed, you can deepen your trance in several ways. One way is to imagine yourself in a safe place, surrounded by everything that you love. This may be a place in nature, like a beach or a mountain, or it may be a room or a house that feels comforting to you. Another way to deepen your trance is to imagine yourself slowly descending a flight of stairs to a comfortable, safe place.

Voluntarily entering a hypnotic trance can take some practice. Don’t be discouraged if you fall asleep the first few times you try it. At least you’ll know you’ve mastered the relaxation part of the exercise!

Once you’re in a hypnotic trance, there are several things you can do. One of the most important is to make suggestions to yourself. If you’re trying to give up a bad habit, for instance, suggest to yourself that the bad habit is gone and that you’re happy without it. “I am a relaxed, confident non-smoker.” “I am enjoying a new wardrobe at my fighting weight of 135 pounds.”

You can also repeat general positive affirmations to yourself. “I am a loving, beautiful child of the universe.” “I am a confident, capable man (or woman).”

Finally, if a specific situation is troubling you, you might suggest to yourself that when you awaken, you will know the solution to your problem.

When you’re ready to come out of your trance, suggest to yourself that you will be refreshed and energized when you awake. Then allow yourself to come out of your trance slowly, perhaps by imagining yourself ascending a staircase back to full consciousness. That’s all there is to it!

Self hypnotism isn’t nearly as tricky as it sounds, and it can be a valuable weapon in your self-improvement arsenal.

Do you feel frustrated all the time because you can never find what you need when you need it? Organization is an essential key to staying focused and on track. Most people who are disorganized continue living that way because they think getting organized would be too difficult. Here are five simple and easy things you can do to start organizing yourself and your life now:

1. Get a shoe organizer. If the bottom of your closet or your bedroom floor is littered with shoes, this is one of the easiest and simplest things you can do to kick off your personal organization. Buy a simple over-the-door shoe rack and get your shoes up off the floor. QUICK TIP: An over-the-door shoe rack is also great for storing scarves, socks, makeup tools, perfume, etc.

2. Use compact plastic storage boxes in the bedroom. Children’s bedrooms are always challenging to get and keep organized. With toys and clothes strewn about, it’s not always easy keeping their rooms clean. A quick and simple solution for this is to use compact plastic storage containers. Fill one with toys then slide it underneath the bed. These are a super easy way to get your kids involved in keeping their own rooms organized.

3. Use the 1-touch rule. All too often the biggest trouble some have is simply getting started. It’s easy to become overwhelmed with the enormity of the task of organizing. When this happens, operate under the 1-touch rule. All this means is that you can only touch something one time. You must decide immediately whether you’ll keep it, trash it, or give it away. It will be difficult at first, but the more you use this rule when you’re organizing, the easier it will get. And you’ll soon learn that you’ll get more done in a shorter amount of time as well.

Music and sound therapy have proven to have many therapeutic effects on a person’s well being.

Sound vibrations can help improve energy flow and break through physical, emotional and spiritual blocks by inducing a meditative state, and a more positive state of mind.

Sound therapy works in three ways:

1. Controls brain wave patterns:

A strong beat can stimulate brainwaves and can help improve concentration. Whereas a slow, relaxed tempo can help in the promotion of a calm, relaxed state of being.

2. Affects breathing and heart rate:

Music has an effect on the brain known as entrainment. Entrainment occurs when a rhythmic beat causes the brain to slow down or speed up. This in turn affects your breathing and heart rate, causing it to rise or relax depending on the music tempo. It also explains why you drive or walk faster when you hear up tempo music.

3. Improve your state of mind:

Listening to soothing, calming music can pull someone out of a state of chronic stress, and into a more relaxed state of being.

Now that you know how sound and music therapy works, here are 15 other Benefits of sound therapy you should know about:

1. It can help aid in emotional healing
2. It can assist in emotional and spiritual growth
3. It can accelerate healing and recovery
4. It can help reduce stress
5. It can aid in relaxation
6. It can help you achieve peace and inner harmony
7. It can help you increase your energy
8. It can help improve your vitality
9. It can help increase your focus
10. It can help improve your productivity
11. It can help increase creativity
12. It can help you overcome negative patterns
13. It can help you overcome addictions
14. It can help increase health
15. It can help increase immunity

How many times have you come home from a hard day and thrown on your favorite album to get you relaxed or into a more cheerful mood?

That is a benefit of sound and music therapy that you have already been practicing on yourself.

Now that you know how it works, and why it works, try using it to your advantage after a rough day at the office, or after hard day’s night. You’ve already got a record collection; why not use it to help induce a more positive state of being.

How does society affect the well-being in our soul?

The modern spiritual era often puts us at odds with our own beliefs and values. Many of us face spiritual challenges in our daily jobs and lives. Some of the most common challenges include keeping our integrity, while living in a world that doesn’t always support doing what is right, finding time to connect to the spiritual, and staying true to our own beliefs, while respecting the beliefs of others.

Integrity-staying true to your beliefs and values-is an important part of spirituality. Unfortunately, today’s society often promotes compromising one’s beliefs for what is expedient. The workplace is a very common place to run into challenges to one’s own integrity. A friend of mine, for instance, believes strongly that money should not be a barrier to receiving good health care. However, she works for a nursing facility that exists to make a profit. It is part of her job to turn away people who cannot afford to pay for services. Should she leave a good-paying job that is helping her support her family? Or should she continue to ignore her own values in order to make a living?

If you, like my friend, are facing a crisis of integrity, it’s important to acknowledge the challenge to your values. Talking through the issue with like-minded friends, a counselor, or a member of the clergy may help you find a compromise or a solution that hadn’t occurred to you before.

Another difficult issue in the modern spiritual era is finding time to connect to what is spiritual. Many jobs today gobble up far more than the traditional forty hours per week. Basic survival activities such as eating and sleeping often take up what is left. This leaves very little time for attending religious services, communing with nature, connecting to our families, or whatever else we may view as spiritual.

Many time management experts recognize this dilemma and advise people to place a high priority on setting time aside for spiritual observances. They suggest looking at “empty time” such as time spent watching television or playing computer games and using that time, instead for spiritual observances, such as prayer or meditation. Although giving up the “empty time” may seem difficult at first, chances are that once you get in the habit of connecting to the spiritual, you will find it far more satisfying than staring at a television set or computer monitor.

Still another challenge that faces us in the modern spiritual era is respecting our own beliefs without disrespecting the beliefs of others. The modern world is a small world. You probably know people of many different religious and spiritual beliefs and philosophies. It is important to strike a balance between staying true to your own spiritual path and acknowledging that not everyone is on your path. For instance, before you start a morning meeting with a Christian prayer, you need to remember that not everyone attending the meeting is necessarily a Christian. It might be more appropriate to start with a moment of silence so that everyone can focus spiritually in his or her own way. Another idea is to open a dialogue between members of different faiths and see if you can find a way to acknowledge the spiritual that everyone can agree with.

The modern spiritual era is a fertile time for many different types of spiritual challenges. Being aware of the challenges and open to finding creative solutions will help you survive in this world without losing touch with what is important to you spiritually.
