Belief And The Secret Law Of Attraction

I’m sure that you’ve heard of it. The secret law of attraction has exploded in popularity recently, with the followers swearing it’s the best thing that has ever happened to them, and the critics of the secret law of attraction sneering in their wake, calling it a bunch of bologna.

I’m not here to dismantle the critics. However, I am here to offer one reason why they are indeed critics.

If you’re unfamiliar with the secret law of attraction, let me explain. The secret law of attraction works because you have the will power inside of you to manifest your dreams and desires. That doesn’t mean you’re going to manifest a hunk of pure gold in front of you – it means that you’re going to have the opportunity to seize what you need and want from life.

Okay, back to the original topic!

One of the reasons why critics claim that the secret law of attraction indeed doesn’t work is that for the secret law of attraction to work, to truly affect your life, you must believe that it works. If you don’t, you’re only putting a half effort into it, and you will see no results.

3 Ways To Take Control Of Your Life

Don’t wait for the right time, take control of your life now

There’s so much going on all around us that it might feel like you’re not able to take control of your life. However, through positive thought and action, you can put yourself back in the driver’s seat for your own life. It’s a refreshingly liberating thought. Consider the following thoughts in taking control of your life.

1. Wake Up And Be Aware

So many times, it seems like people go through their existence with blinders on. We get into ruts of our patterns and routines, everything from the route you use to drive to work to the way you handle regular tasks once you get there. In personal life this is represented by sticking with the same haircut forever or always ordering the same thing at your favorite restaurant. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with having patterns and preferences, the fact remains that the more of your life you put on autopilot, the less aware you will be of your surroundings. To be in control, you must be observant. You must know what is going on around you and how it will impact your own existence.

Give A Gift Of Thanks

Every Thanksgiving seems to bring about the same thing: a huge family dinner, football game, and everyone groaning about how much they shouldn’t have eaten. This year, why not do something different? Give a gift of thanks to someone you love.

Usually people only consider Christmas to be the time of year to give special gifts. But Thanksgiving is the perfect time to give someone this special gift of thanks-a gratitude journal.

A gratitude journal is a notebook that is filled with things you are thankful, or grateful, for. It is special because not only does it help open your eyes even more to the small things that we so often overlook, but it helps someone else to see us in a new light, too.

A gratitude journal can be kept all year long, if you’d like to give a plump journal to someone. However, you can create a nice, simple, small gratitude journal in a very short amount of time.

First, choose a small journal. Usually a pocket-sized notebook with a hard cover is the perfect size for this project.

Myths About Self Confidence

People who have self-confidence believe in themselves and feel that they are capable of achieving what they want in life, or dealing with any situation that they may have to face. They have an aura of self-confidence and self-assurance, which is apparent to others. People like to spend time with them; they feel comfortable and secure in their presence.

In contrast, there are many people who are reasonably talented, but who lack self-confidence. These people are victims of the several myths that surround self-confidence.

One of the foremost myths about self-confidence is that people are born with self-confidence. It is a quality that cannot be acquired. Nothing can be farther from truth. Self-confidence, like other skills, can be built. All that you need is right guidance and a belief in yourself.

Artists And Mind Mapping

Creative individuals are very lucky because not everyone can bring out their creativeness especially as they grow older. Being creative is natural among children because they are utilizing their brain’s right hemisphere but as a person grows older, they become more rational using mostly their left brain hemisphere. Artists are gifted people and so they find it easy visualize tasks or ideas without great effort. If you’re an artist and you need to complete a certain project, you can make use of mind maps so that you can organize all your ideas and don’t forget even the smallest detail.

Artists need to focus on their projects. The slightest distraction can ruin their concentration and much worse, it can mess up the entire project. Over thinking is also not a good idea because most artists end up abandoning their projects. In order to keep focus on their projects, they need to utilize mind maps. If you want to stay in the right track, you should first create mind maps. Even if artists leave their projects for a couple of days or even weeks, they will be able to finish their projects as it is much easier to pick up their concentration. The mind maps will ensure the completeness of the project’ so try them out.
