Self Confidence In Parenting

There’s a reason why so many people say it’s the hardest job you’ll ever have–raising a child. It’s challenging, exciting, nerve-wracking, and one of the most amazing things you’ll ever experience. Raising a child will put you through every emotion possible, including self-doubt. Along with the joy of raising a child can come the fear that you’re going to do something wrong, create permanent psychological damage, or a whole list of other things that may not go quite right. But relax–keeping a few simple things in mind can help raise your confidence as a parent.

First, know that you will make mistakes. There is no such thing as a perfect parent. If you keep this in mind, you can take a great deal of pressure off yourself. Do your best, of course, but understand that there will be bumps along the road–possibly quite a few of them. Rather than trying to be a perfect parent, do what you can to prepare for those bumps. Understand where your child is in development and learn what to expect; then expect the unexpected. Also remember that the worst may not happen. Your child may not go through the “terrible twos” or be a reckless teenager. Remember that all children are different. Try not to compare your child or your parenting to others or you may cause yourself unnecessary stress.

What Is Leadership Anyways

Here is more than enough truth to perhaps modify if you remind yourself of a few of these

What is leadership, and how do some people have the natural flair of leading teams while others cannot? These questions have intrigued scientists, philosophers and thinkers since time immemorial. Wild dogs hunt in packs, and that makes them one of the most feared predators in the wild expanse of Africa. While these dogs, individually, are no match to the strength of lions, as a pack they have known to displace and even kill lions. And the answer to the puzzle is their team skills and more importantly, leadership skills. These wild dogs are lead by fierce leaders and as a pack they pack quite a punch.

In the human society, strength of the human intellect can be leveraged only if we human beings work in a team and are lead by a leader. The question that pops up in our mind is- what exactly leadership is and who can be termed as a leader. Academicians have found out methods in this madness and have come up with numerous theories that define leadership. Transactional theory, participative theory, situational theory, great men theory, relationship theory- the list of text book models runs long. However, as a commoner, we have our own understanding of leadership.

How To Imbue Self Confidence In Children

It is very rightly said that what your child does at 13 very much decides what he will be doing at 30. If he learns to hold his head high no matter what comes, he will certainly sow seeds of happiness, success and prosperity that he can reap when he becomes an adult. It is the duty of every parent to create a atmosphere where a child can learn to be self-confident, responsible and courageous. Believe in the ability of your child, encourage him to take initiative and you will be amazed to see what he can do!

Be self-confident as a parent

Children learn by imitating adults, and as parents are the ones who stay the most with the child, the child gets to become like his parents. A self-confident behavior on part of the parent unconsciously establishes self-confident nature as a life skills of the child. A child is a great observer. So much so that it has been said that a child is the father of man! Observation makes the first half of learning while doing makes the second half. So if he observes you staying idle, not completing your tasks in time, getting confused at the last hour and the resulting fights and bouts of your temper, he might never know the right way to handle situations. He will also be struggling with devils like procrastination and indiscipline.

5 Ways To Save Time

Is life running you ragged? Do you constantly feel like you never have enough time to get everything done you need to do? This article gives you three super-simple ways to save a little time throughout your day. Here they are…

PLAN YOUR WEEKLY MENU AHEAD – Many families have two working parents, or a single working parent. This leaves for very little time to cook meals every day, so many opt for unhealthy fast food, simply because it’s easy and fast. Change things up by planning your dinner menu a week in advance. Not only will you have a full menu planned, but your family can help out with the cooking and you can create your grocery list from your menu as well.

TURN OFF THE TUBE – Television can be a huge time waster without you even realizing it. Let’s say you get home around 6 in the evening from work, cook dinner, and clean the kitchen. By 7, the kids may be studying or finishing up homework and getting ready for bed. You’re worn out from a long day at work, so you crash on the couch to watch some T.V. At 10 you get up and head to bed. You’ve just wasted three hours of time on T.V. that could have been spent paying bills, folding clothes, or any other household chore. Double up your duties or turn off the tube.
