How To Build Your Self Confidence

Learn to accept yourself

The very first step is to accept yourself – lovingly. No person in the world in perfect so why bother and shed tears over your imperfectness. This is how God wanted us to be – Imperfect! We might have something that someone else may lack and someone else might be endowed with the qualities, which we lack. This incompleteness makes us go out and seek companions who make us feel loved, wanted and complete. Oh what a great feeling! Would we experience it if we were inside the cocoon of our perfection? Never! So accept yourself the way you are. It will free your mind of a heavy baggage of unnecessary worries. You will instantly feel light and cheerful.

Liberate yourself – Go out and do what you like!

Don't Let Procrastination Steal Your Dreams

What is the one thing you would like to accomplish in your lifetime, most of all? Are you taking great strides towards reaching that dream? Why not?

Did you know that of all the people who have dreams for themselves, very few ever see those dreams come to fruition? There are two main reasons for this: procrastination and laziness.

YOU DON’T HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD

Procrastination will tell you that you have plenty of time to reach your dream. It will lie to you and tell you that you should just wait until another day because there’s lots of time to do what you want to do. The truth is, none of us are granted a single day on this earth. Live for today!

YOU DON’T HAVE TO GET IT ALL DONE AT ONCE

Procrastination will also tell you that the only way to reach your dreams is to get everything done at one time. And as soon as you try to do just that, you become burned out and frustrated because nothing’s happening right. On the contrary, you should take one little baby step at a time. That’s all it takes to reach a dream and make it come true.

Finding The Courage To Begin Again

Are you starting the new year with baggage hanging onto you? Do you feel the oppressive weight of problems from the past year weighing you down? Even though many people are happy and celebrating the new year right now, you might feel like there’s not much hope. Keep reading because I have some encouraging news for you…

First, encourage yourself. The first thing you must do is pick yourself up and dust yourself off. Courage begins within yourself. You have to put the past in the past and move forward with today. Encourage yourself to get up and try again, no matter how big your past failures might be.

Second, plan for a better future. Sometimes our failures teach us that we didn’t plan very well in the past. If this is your case, sit down right now and make a plan for this year. What do you want to accomplish? What are three things that must be done by the end of the year? How do you want your life to be different next year?

Team Efforts In Time Management

Family and co-workers are a part of the team of people that you should include in your time management plan. When you promote confidence and motivation to your team, you are taking the first step in making your plans work. Time Management is essential in any success strategy planned. If you are not into cramming, rushing, or failing it is wise to get ahead by setting a time management plan that includes each person that works around you. If you have family time, management is important since you do not want to neglect the people you love the most. This is part of your team, and when they are neglected, you are affected.

When you are planning a time management schedule, it is wise to include all details of your life into the plans. For example if you are making a list of tasks, then you will include sleep, waking hours, meals, job, family, entertainment, social, chores, travel, and so on. Try to avoid planning a task list that works against your schedule. If you set a time in the day to eat a meal, then make sure that is the time you will dine. There comes time in our lives where we may have to modify our schedule but try to avoid this if, at all possible. If you need to check off your list this is great for keeping up with a schedule. Checking off your list only assures you that your time management is working.
