Learning Time Management

“A wise man will learn everything and a stupid man will learn nothing.”

Learning time management is not as difficult as many believe. In fact, when we first start school we are in the process of learning new strategies that help us obtain goals. When our parents teach us we are, also learning skills needed in time management. The advantage of learning requires the proper training, and since our world constitutes a variety of teachings; this is where time management becomes difficult. The best part reward from learning is learning who we are. We have our parents, schools, peers, political leaders, newspaper, and many other resources that tell us to do this for best results or do that for best results and all of them differ. Our parents are some of the best teachers in life since most parents care for their children and will help them to see their mistake clearly.

Teaching Time Management Skills

Teaching time management skills is like any other form of teaching. When you teach a concept, it takes time before a student or the person is able to learn and fully develop that skill. Teaching the concepts is not enough, but you also need to follow up on your student to make sure that they regularly use whatever skill they have learned. That way, they make good use of it and be able to think of ways to enhance that skill. These are some time management skills that you can focus on when teaching your students.

1.) Prioritizing

Prioritizing is one of the basic concepts you must teach your student with regards to time management. This is because most people are hampered by too many activities at once. Many could fall into the idea of finishing a task just for the sake of it, not knowing that there are more important activities to attend to first. But the more crucial part here is identifying which ones should be top priority, because after all when it is in your list it should be important. Bottom line us, time management would depend on your own mental state of the amount of control you have of your time.

How To Discover Your Motivations

Find the things that make you tick

There’s so much activity, so much noise all around us that it can be pretty hard to discover what someone said across the room; it might seem impossible to discover your motivations inside of your heart. So if you want to find the inner motivations that make you tick and turn you on, first find the silence. Remove yourself as much as possible from the noise that surrounds you. And if that’s not feasible, then teach yourself to find the silence and peace inside of yourself despite whatever may be going on around you.

Don’t be afraid to be quiet. Some people seem to unconsciously fill their lives with sound and action. From running around with an endless to do list, to just having constant background noise of television or radio, they make sure that there’s always something going on that distracts their thinking. It’s an easy trap to fall into. It’s actually the reason why you don’t hear a lot of long pauses in a conversation. People tend to fear the sound of silence. It becomes your challenge, then, to embrace what might be uncomfortable. You may find that by stilling all of the activity and chaos around you, your heart will speak up and share insights with you from within. Find the peace, find the quiet, and listen. What you learn might surprise you.

What Causes Low Productivity At Work

Have you noticed a decrease in productivity at work? Do your employees seem sluggish or slow to complete their work within the proper time frame? This article will show you some of the most popular causes for decreased productivity in the work place so you can keep an eye out for them.

CYBER SLACKING

Cyber slacking is becoming an increasingly enormous reason for reduced productivity in the work place. Nearly every place of employment has internet access these days. Office buildings are especially susceptible to cyber slacking. Those who become bored with their task at hand click onto the internet to chat, play games, or surf for a “few” minutes. Those few minutes can lead to twenty or thirty-minute (or more!) cyber breaks, which can put a serious dent in time management.

CELL PHONES

Cell phones are extremely hazardous to effective time management on the job. Not only do cell phones create time delays, but they can be as equally dangerous because they divert the person’s attention. Most employers are beginning to change their policies to include sections that forbid their employees to talk on their cell phone during normal business hours.
