10 Ways To Increase Your Happiness

Happiness is one of those things you can never have enough of.

Do you ever get sick of being happy? Is that really possible?

Laughter has a euphoric feeling that cannot be produced by anything other than the purest of joys. So when you’re in a funk, don’t stew in it; try one of these tips for bringing more joy, euphoria and happiness into your life:

1. Get a pet:

Animals are just so darn cute. Find your local pet shelter and find a new friend who will be forever grateful for your love. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

2. Learn an instrument:

Everyone wants to be a musician, this is a fact. Most people put off learning an instrument because they are afraid it’ll take too long to get good. The sooner you pick it up, the sooner you’ll get better.

3. Try something new:

Ever wanted to hang glide or sky dive? Maybe it’s time to stop thinking about it and just get out and do it.

4. Give to charity:

Giving can make you feel so good inside. Why not do something good for a change?

5. Help someone in need:

There are so many unfortunate people out there, lending a helpful hand can brighten anyone’s day.

6. Read a book:

Sometimes reading about someone else’s issues can help put yours in perspective.

7. Bake some cookies:

The smell of fresh baked cookies can pull anyone out of a funk.

8. Call an old friend:

How many times have you put off calling an old friend? Have you ever noticed that when you finally do you always find yourself asking: why didn’t I do this earlier?

9. See a concert:

Listening to live music is such an amazing experience, and can make you feel like the music is being played just for you. An iPod can never replace that feeling.

10. Have some sex:

This is something can be done alone, and in the comfort of your home. For extra enjoyment, include a friend.

Everyone experiences sadness from time to time, it’s unavoidable. But you don’t have to torture yourself with it. Find a new and fun activity and forget about your worries. Life is too short to be sad all the time.

Get out and enjoy life, one day at a time.
